SDT BRAKES HIGH PERFORMANCE is a new concept of brake pads that applies all the latest technology of our R&D+i SDT teams, as well as our experience in competitions, to create a more environmentally friendly product that does not overlook its “pure” capabilities. With this new range of brakes, which brings together the best of our universes: “pure” capabilities, a sustainable and environment-friendly product, and a manufacturing process based on OE quality standards, SDT BRAKES has taken a step forward. Aimed at High Performing cars for daily use as well as for sports and regular driving, it provides us with increased braking capabilities thanks to its carbon-ceramic compound, Due to a high level of friction and initial “bite”, the number of potential hazardous driving situations are reduced. Manufacturing processes and mixtures such as “Underlayer” and “Scorching have resulted in a firm pedal grip. Thanks to this firm pedal grip, SDT HIGH PERFORMANCE provides a great sense of safety to its users.

UNDERLAYER; Used in 100% of our pad production, improves the temperature and better stuck of  the friction material, preventing from peeling/coming off, and resulting in a longer life for the pads. .

SCORCHING; burning off the surface of the friction material to obtain a faster setting and reduction of gases, providing in turn increased braking stability.

SDT BRAKES has taken another step forward by developing this sustainable and state-of-the-art product, removing any substances that may be harmful for the environment. There is no use of copper, nickel or any other polluting product. We have even gone the extra mile by reaching level N of the “Leaf Mark”.

SDT HIGH PERFORMANCE complies with ECE R 90, a worldwide brake pad homologation standard for public roads and highways. The pads are equipped with all the necessary parts,  radial chamfers, and noise reduction plates, already installed in 90% of references, which provide increased levels of comfort necessary for daily use.

Use between 0 a 550ºC. Coefficient of friction 0,44µ

Organic compound semi-metal developed for competition vehicles of highest performance. Ideal for track use, rally and off-road. Good for racing and sportive driving. Perfect choice for Track Day. Outstanding initial bite and braking modulation, it is every driver’s choice due to its great versatility and friendly with brake discs. Consistent at high temperature. SDT Racing 1066 RT is the most popular Racing SDT BRAKES compound.
Also recommended in Climb Hill and RallySprint,

Ideal for Rallye Tarmac (specially light weight 2WD) and Rallye gravel 2WD or 4WD. National or Regional Trophee 1st option.
Winner of outstanding races such as World Rally Group N gravel, International Rallye Raid and  National and regional series and works very consistent in any weather conditions.

Ideal for “Track Days or sporting driving road use. Galfer´s Shim noise stopper recommended on street use.
It’s very important the right bedding. Cool and warm the brake system progressively. More consistent at high temperature.

Usage from 0ºC to 700º C. Friction Coefficient of 0,59 μ.

Metallic compound that gives a flat braking curvature of a linear shape, with a great coefficient level, which gives an easy braking modulation. Low consuming level, making it a great option for semi-endurance races and Rallye and Track competitions.  Its thermycall stability along the pads surface throughout the competition is its main virtue. Low wearing in competition brake discs .

Have been remarkably successful in single seaters competitions such as, F4, F3, Renault WS, Radical , CM, Osella, Norma,  Climb Hill, ….due to feel and power.

Winner of outstanding races such as Rallye Tarmac and Gravel National and International Championships , National Trophees, works in WRC, R5, GT Rallye, Group N Plus, Super 2.000.

WTCC or TCR when less aggressive braking and modulability should be required. Low consuming level, making it a great option for semi-endurance races and competitions.

Usage up to 800ºC, Friction coefficient of 0,64μ

Bi-Symmetrical curve slots dampen the vibration harmonics or noise, resulting in a quieter, responsive and smoother brake pedal feel.

Brake rotors from DBA Street Series feature with “Kangaroo Paw” – 144 diamond and tear drop pillar ventilation system. Increased surface area results in greater heat dissipation and thus minimises brake fade and increases braking effectiveness of disc brake. CBN (Cubic Boron Nitride) machine turned reduces DTV (Disc thickness variation) and parallelism which brings less occurrence of brake shudder or brake pedal ‘judder’.

The T2 has greater braking advantages over the traditional slot designs. The best option with the SDTBRAKES pads.

DBA 4000 T3 slot brake rotor design consists of a precise array of slots that have been formulated using the latest in computer aided engineering design software and extensive on-road and race track tests. The result is an amazingly quieter, responsive and smoother brake pedal feel. This is achieved from a series of tri-symmetrical ‘curved’ slots, which when aligned in a specifc way, drastically dampen the vibration harmonics or noise, that’s commonly associated with traditional straight slot (groove) brake rotor designs.

The tri-symmetrical slots also increase the number of out-gassing exit points for brake pad friction gases to escape through, further increasing the consistency and effectiveness of every brake stop. The best option with the SDTBRAKES pads.

DBA 5000 T3 slot design ‘sports’ the same benefits as the 4000 SERIES except for one major structural advancement. The 5000 SERIES brake rotors incorporate Alumalite hats made from 6061-T6 Aeronautical grade aluminium. The Alumalite hat reduces unsprung weight for improved suspension and handling performance as well as allowing uniform expansion of the disc rotor during high performance use. The Alumalite’s ability to reduce the level of heat transfer adds to the longevity of both the disc rotor and other vehicle components such as brake pads and wheel hub bearings.

SDT BRAKES steel hoses improve braking response and performance by 25%. Unexpandable and inextensible tubing kit that improves the feel and reaction speed of the brake system. Prepared to replace the originals. Composition: Inner tube of PTFE (Teflon) type 62, outer braided of AISI 304L stainless steel and coated with black PVC.

-Lower risk of expansion than with rubber OEM hoses.

Four thin adhesive plates made of carbon and kevlar composites that reduce brake noise considerably, reduce vibrations and temperature to the piston. To be used on almost all brake pad shapes.

 

The sheets are self-adhesive and the material can be cut and easily adapted to any tablet model. To be placed in the backplate of the brakepad (between piston and brakepad) Clean and remove any dirt on the backplate.

They are sold in packages of 4 units, there are 3 different sises; Small with measures 65,5×29,5mm (Moto, Quad or Auto rear), Medium with measures 96x65mm (Auto or Industrial vehicle) and Large 138,8 x 50mm (Auto OEM caliper 4/6 pistons or Aftermarket caliper)

Ideal for the following cases:

You have changed the brake pads at your dealer several times for unwanted noise when braking.
You have used anti-squeaky copper paste? We don’t recommend you as it leaves a lot of dirt on the different elements of the caliper. It can also help the transmission of temperature.
Do you use an abrasive or competition brakepad compound that causes a lot of noise when braking and want to reduce or eliminate it??

Pyroclast® es un material nuevo y único nacido de años de investigación con la colaboración de grandes instituciones; Su uso en sistemas de frenado está protegido por una patente internacional. Gracias a las excepcionales propiedades de aislamiento y resistencia a la compresión, estas placas brindan increíbles beneficios en el uso del sistema de frenado en competición.

Las placas P-DEF deben colocarse entre el revestimiento del freno y los pistones de la pinza, creando una barrera para el paso del calor emitido durante el frenado. P-DEF está disponible en diferentes dibujos, en función de los diferentes contornos de las pastillas de freno, ya cortados con precisión y preparados en conjuntos de 4 piezas para un solo eje de automóvil. Solicite una aplicación específica o consulte nuestra lista de ajustes con un código comercial de revestimiento para su sistema de frenos.

P-DEF no es un material de un solo uso, puede reutilizarse en el mismo freno para una vida media de 3 juegos de pastillas diferentes, dependiendo del freno y la condición de uso. Se ha probado solo en frenos y pastillas de carreras: no se recomienda su uso en sistemas de frenos estándar, para frenos estándar o deportivos tiene la opción de nuestros shims anti-ruido de SDT BRAKES.
