Welcome to SDT Brakes, the only leading Spanish brand in high-performance and competition brakes in the automotive sector. We specialize in manufacturing high-performance brake pads, all certified under ECE R90 standards, as well as competition compounds designed for a wide variety of vehicles.
Additionally, we produce brake discs, metal hoses, brake calipers, fittings, and other innovative accessories that enhance the safety and efficiency of your braking system. Our experience also extends to the off-road vehicles segment, including buggies, UTVs, and karts, where we develop sport and competition brake pads of high performance. Furthermore, in 2023, we expanded our catalog to include high-quality and durable brake pads for bicycles and electric scooters, following extensive testing conducted throughout the previous year. By 2024, we launched two revolutionary compounds for karting brake pads: RK01 standard racing (black) and RK11 soft racing (green), both tested on the bench and on the track to ensure exceptional performance.

2008
David Machado starts as a technician at Galfer Auto.
2008
Great successes with the RX and RZ racing pad compounds with Seat Sport in WTCC.
2015
Modified compound is formulated from R1065 to the new RT66 improving bite and durability.
2019
We created the new SDT BRAKES brand.
2024
After many tests, we develop two brake pad compounds for karting, the Standard Racing RK01 and the Soft Racing RK11.
2025
New formulations of 2 compounds, for bicycle the OP11 (OEM Performance) and the new racing compound for car and buggy the RS55.
OVER 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PERFORMANCE AND RACING BRAKE PADS SECTOR.
Its founder, David Machado, began in the sector working as a technician at Galfer Auto (Specialized in sport brakes with the GALFER TUNING / SPORT range and the GALFER RACING range). At Galfer Auto they managed to improve safety in cars for street use and achieved great successes in competition for years, such as the TCR and WTCC.
Together with his team, they formulated a successful compound for racing pads: the RT1066 (RT-66) that would replace the old racing 1065. A highly desired compound by those who practice grip sessions and trackadays.
Likewise, they created a new generation of High Performance brake pads (S-50) and High PErformance Plus (S-50+). The best option to increase safety in normal daily use and sport.
