¿ What is a brake cleaner?
The brake cleaners they are transparent substances, generally, that have a degreasing action, with a base of solvent. These fluids are non-corrosive and instantly remove any dirt that may have accumulated in the brake system on contact.
The mechanism of action of these cleaners is drag. They are capable of tearing off the dirt as they pass through the surfaces. They are fast drying and hardly any need to be rubbed in to work, plus they leave no residue.
The most common presentation is in the form of an aerosol, with which the application is direct. Many containers have a spout that extends and is much narrower, allowing the substance to enter less visible places.
It should be noted that, although it is called a brake cleaner, the reality is that its use is not only limited to said system, but also has diverse and important applications.
