Features and advantages of the racing compound RS55 from SDT BRAKES:
- Semi-metallic organic compound (asbestos-free)
- Improved feel, progression, and braking.
- Good initial feel at low temperatures and medium initial bite.
- Great modulability and brake control.
- Low level of consumption.
- Easy bedding-in.
- Typically do not produce "squeal" noise and are less aggressive on the disc (unlike the RT66 and RR80 compounds, which are more aggressive).
Its main uses include: lightweight rally cars, track day circuits, stages, climbs, sprint races, single-seaters, and rally raid.
Operating temperature range from 0ºC to 700ºC. Friction coefficient 0.51 µ.
